We are extremely happy with the experience that we had with Drivedif. The online reservation was easy and we immediately recieved a confirmation text with instructions. We later spoke with Steve, who wanted to ensure the Jeep was equipped with the proper tires for our weekend in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado.The morning of our arrival, we received pickup instructions with pictures our rental. The Jeep was delivered and ready when we arrived at the Montrose Airport. The return process was just as easy. We will definitely be return customers.

This is a great service, and we’ll definitely be using it again! The owner Steve is so helpful and arranged for a beautiful Subaru to be delivered to our location. Having the car allowed us to leave for the airport on our own schedule and ride in comfort. We loved the car. This will be so convenient the next time we fly into the Montrose Airport, as we’ll be able to stop for a quick meal and grocery shop. Rented Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, had heated leather seats, great for January in Moab. Vehicle was dropped off in parking lot right in front of entrance to Grand Junction airport. No issues at all. Great customer service! Will definitely use Diff again!
This was our first family trip to Kauai and our first experience using Diff. Simple rental process, airport shuttle service, and overall wonderful experience. We rented a Rubicon and to our surprise, it had an automatic retractable roof! What better way is there to enjoy the lush and mountainous scenery of Kauai?! We rent multiple jeeps from diff(formerly Colorado 145) every year and it’s always a great experience.The jeeps are always clean and well maintained, they even park them right beside the airport for us. These guys are the best!
This is our 2nd time renting with DriveDiff in Montrose, CO. I highly recommend them. Easy to book; easy to pick up/return the Bronco we rented. Car was super clean and comfortable. The drive from Ouray to Silverton on that Million Dollar Highway was not quite as scary as advertised, AND we spotted a bull moose on the road side at mile marker 86! The Bronco handled that trip far better than my nerves. If you are in the area and need (or want) a 4W drive vehicle, Drive Diff is definitely a great choice. As long as our family member lives there and we come for visits, we'll rent with Drive Diff.
Everything was as advertised. The Jeep was in great condition, and it was very important for us to know we had a 4X4 capable vehicle. They even worked with us late in the evening due to a significantly delayed flight. Will use again for sure!

Jeep Rental Kauai Hawaii- had a wonderful experience wit Diff. They arranged a taxi to pick us up at the airport for a short ride to a lot with the Jeep. Easy and painless! The jeep was in great condition and the electric too was so easy! We opted for the cooler, beach chairs and umbrella option and that was such a blessing while exploring the island! The return process was just as easy with meeting at the lot and the taxi brought us right to the airport curb for check-in! Highly recommend!
This was the perfect rental. Renting a jeep from drive diff made our trip. We flew into Grand Junction jeep was at the airport ready. It was in good condition. We spent a couple days in Grand Junction. Then the rest of our trip in Moab. We did a little off-roading each day with this jeep. It was nice that it had front and rear lockers. They even had an air pump so we could air down for a smoother ride on the trails.I will rent from drive diff again.
The people here at Diff are awesome Steve was super helpful getting everything set up and very responsive to questions. The Jeep was clean and well maintained and the on board air is a huge bonus. Will 100% use them again when I don’t have my Jeep and recommend them to anyone that is looking for an off road rental.
Rented a Jeep in Colorado. Great experience from ease of rental, pick up and return. Jeep was a four-door Rubicon with 33" mud terrain tires. It performed great off-road and handling and ride were incredible. Would definitely rent again. Highly recommend them for your next adventure.

Perfect rental experience with Diff. We needed a lifted Jeep for The Maze district of Canyonlands NP, and Diff delivered in spades. They worked with me to get the right specs, and then delivered the car to Grand Junction airport and made the whole experience seamless and personal. Highest recommend! I wish all rentals were as good as this company.
My best rental experience of all time. Rented a lifted Jeep Wrangler - it only had 30k miles on it, equipped with great off-road tires and a proper air compressor. The pick-up/drop-off at Montrose airport was painless, and the Diff staff was super responsive via text messages (my preferred form of communication). Was able to do the Alta (Ghost Town) and Last Dollar Road drives with zero drama in October, when there was already snow on the ground.
Rented the Bronco on Kauai with the soft top it was great to be able to retract up and down per the weather. Communication with Steve and a team was amazing. The included ride from the pick up area to and from the airport was quick and easy. Plenty of room in the back for luggage for five easily. Can’t wait back to get to Kauai and rent from Diff again! Mahalo!!

Rented a Jeep for a week while in Telluride. Jeep was in great shape and the entire process in picking it up and dropping it off was so easy. Great communication as well. Will be renting again for sure!
Steve was always available for questions and made rental of my awesome Bronco the easiest rental ever for an amazing off road week! Identify what you want e sign the rental contract and send DL, insurance proof and CC info online or via text and youre done! Send arrival info for remote unlocking and just walk out of Montrose airport and go 0.2 miles immediately to the left and voila at the Phillip 66 station! Keys are there just get in and go. On return just fill it back up, park it where you got it, text them its there and reluctantly go home.
We rented a lifted Jeep Wrangler (xtreme recon) and did the Alpine Loop (Silverton, Anamas Forks, Engineer Pass, Lake City, Cinamon Pass, Anamas Forks, California, Hurricane, and Corkscrew). The Jeep was in great shape and everything worked as it should. The Jeep came with an ARB air compressor, which made airing up after very easy. It came with offroad tires which rolled over everything with ease. I have no complaints about the Jeep. I want the exact Jeep.The pickup and drop off were extremely easy. The Jeep was waiting for us in the Montrose airport parking lot with the keys in the Jeep. The drop off was easy. We left the Jeep in the parking lot and text them.I would definitely recommend Diff Rental and plan on using them again in the future.

Steve was fantastic, my Extreme Recon Rubicon was fantastic. The entire process was great from start to finish. Explored multiiple trails around Aspen and Ouray and in between and never worried about the Jeep’s capabilities or condition. Just a great experience and I highly recommend these guys. Steve and the team at Diff were great! I rented a Xtreme recon jeep rubicon to explore the San Juan mountains and had an amazing time. The jeep was clean and ready to go when my flight landed in Montrose, the pick up and drop off were so easy, easier than a normal car rental. We did Mineral Creek, Engineer Pass, Cinnamon Pass, Ophir Pass, East and West Bolam passes, Red mountain pass, and just general county roads to and from the mountain towns. Unfortunately Imogene pass was closed due to a mud slide so no Yankee boy basin or Imogene to telluride from ouray. The jeep handled all of these with ease while being quite comfortable and sipping fuel on the trails. I really thought the powered “convertible” roof was going to be a gimmick but it was absolutely awesome. It made getting photos and just getting fresh air/sun so easy.I can’t speak highly enough of the experience I had with Diff Drive. When, not if, I make another trip to south west Colorado, I will be renting from them again.
We had an exceptional r experience when we rented a Jeep Rubicon as we vacationed a week in Ouray and Telluride. We really enjoyed a few small trails and then the highlight tackling Imogene pass without any issues. The Rubicon did not disappoint! The whole rental process was seamless and everything I could have hoped for. I highly recommend this company for any of your rental needs.
I found DIFF rentals while searching for a Jeep to rent for our vacation on Kauai. I was so happy to have found DIFF as I wanted more than just a Jeep Wrangler Sport and they had what I wanted. They provided a brand new 24 Jeep Wrangler Xtreme Recon and the process to rent and get the rental was super easy and fast. I was able to get into my rental when I arrived faster than the other customers at the rental location at the airport in Kauai. It was a great Jeep and highly recommend them for your next trip to Kauai.

I rented a Wrangler Rubicon this past October for over a week and explored the Crested Butte and Ridgway/San Juan Mountains areas. The jeep was spotless when I got it and the contactless pickup worked without any issues. It was very convenient to the Denver airport. I was with a photo tour and the guides misjudged the weather and I was at the top of Paradise Pass in a heavy snowstorm. Jeep handled it with no problems, although it got quite muddy! And the group leader said he was a bit jealous of the air compressor in the Rubicon - said it was really good and he wished he could afford one. They used it to re-up everyone's tires after the snowy descent from the pass.I already have one reserved for this coming October's trip.
Rented a Rubicon from 10/30 thru 10/4. A fantastic experience all-around. Totally different than your typical rental car experience. A+
If you want the best, go with the best and that's Diff! Fantastic service and top shelf Jeep. Pick up and drop off just a short walk from the Montrose airport. Super clean, low mileage Rubicon made for fun and reliable cruising and "off roading". Will definitely be back.

Recently rented a 4-door Rubicon in Montrose, Colorado. Everything about the experience was perfect. The Jeep was great. The pick up and drop off were easy. Customer service was a breeze. Easier than renting a car from a standard car rental company . . . and got a way cooler vehicle!
We reached out to Diff in Telluride/Mountain Village just one day before we needed it. They shuffled some things around and got us a lifted Jeep Rubi so we could make a day of hiking in Ouray followed by the trek back along Imogene Pass to Telluride. As a repeat customer, I am continually amazed at the level of customer service and quality of vehicles at Diff.
